According to the American College of Sports Medicine, every active minute adds up, and helps improve mood, sleep, brain function, and heart and metabolic health. It lowers the risk of diabetes, heart disease, many kinds of cancer, dementia, and infection, slows the effects of aging, and increases energy. But, let’s be honest, having a chronic condition can sometimes make working out challenging. Maybe it hurts to move too much or that aerobics class makes you tired or maybe you simply don’t know what to do.
